According to an April 25, 2025, Fox 13 news report, a 19-year-old received a 17.5-year prison sentence for his role in causing a crash that claimed the lives of four people in King County. It happened in Renton’s Fairwood neighborhood.
Police claim the young man was driving 112 mph and ran a red light when he crashed into the other vehicle. The driver, a 38-year-old woman, was killed, and her two children suffered serious injuries. Sadly, three other children, all passengers in the vehicle, were also killed in the crash.
